Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa welcomes Michelin-starred chef Theodor Falser to Italian fine-dining restaurant Capri Court from Friday 5 May until Wednesday 10 May 2017.

Serving an exquisite Michelin dining experience at Capri Court, Chef Theodor Falser, who has two Michelin star awards for his restaurant in Italy, is renowned for his brand of gourmet Italian cuisine using wild herbs and vegetables to create the traditional tastes and aromas from his native Italy.

The lamb cutlets were just as i imagined them to be, juicy and succulent meat that falls off so easily from the bone, packed with flavor and just that right amount of pepper and a liberating drizzle of olive oil to hit the right notes.

My go to fish is usually the salmon but for a change i decided to try out thee branzino sea bass fillet stacked neatly over a bed of seafood ragout. The ragout lends an ultimate flavor to the simply grilled sea bass making it a wholesome meal all in all.

The butterfly pasta was a creamy and decadent delight with plump shrimps cooked with baby marrows, the sweetness of cherry tomatoes and grated pecorino cheese for that added aromatic flavor.


The risotto with mixed seafood , cherry tomato , chili and fresh parsley is a fresh mount of delight and quite sensational in taste,thanks to the combined flavors of seafood, the aromatic flavors of fresh parsley and an added spice of chili.



Yearning for a dessert, then try out The ‘Flan al Cioccolato” which is a delicious molten chocolate cake topped with a dollop of vanilla ice cream consisting of a dark belgian chocolate core which makes it easily a favorite for chocolate lovers like me.
