As we made our way to the lush gardens of the Palace downtown, what welcomed us was truly a sight to behold as well as heavenly music to our ears sets the scene, compliments of the harp being played by the beautiful harpist as she works wonders with her fingers. Aside from having mesmerizing views of the Burj Khalifa in juxtaposition, beautiful tea tables along with tiffany chairs lined the manicured garden and decorative bird cages hung loosely from the tree, making for a perfect intimate setting.

We sat down to be welcomed with a warm smile by the staff and decided to opt for the premium Laurent Perrier bubbly package but you can also choose the fragrant TWG tea package to your liking.

As we admired the splendid views, our three tier curate stand arrived, filled with culinary delights. The tier one contained mini finger sandwiches, one of my favorites being the avocado creamy tuna roll, which literally melts in your mouth and matches in unison with the Bulgaria Bleu fragrance as it contains embellished flavors of shiso and violet. Tier two boasted sweet treats and it was truly hard to pick a favorite considering the sweet tooth i have, The vert lemon bergamot meringue tart was a zesty palate pleaser and a perfect accompaniment for a lovely afternoon. Tier three contained varieties of scones and petit fours – the green tea scones were absolutely light and had hints of green tea flavor to match with the vert fragrance of Bvlgari , containing subtle notes of bergamot and green tea giving you a feeling of relaxation.The plus point to this luxurious afternoon tea is you can have your tier stand replenished with all these yummy and decadent treats.For final touches, we were presented with fruit skewers to be dipped in sinful chocolate fondue.

We decided to indulge in the finer flavors of tea, and my cult favorite was the pink flamingo tea, a graceful blend of green tea with crimson, hibiscus blossoms that will uplift your mood in seconds with its ever sweet smell as the tea is perfectly paired with the fragrances as well as the other exotic tea blends.

The Bvlgari afternoon tea only lasts for the month of March and takes place from 1 to 4 pm on every wednesday, friday and saturday of the month and is definite must visit as it makes for a cozy atmosphere and sweeping views of the Burj Khalifa while you and your loved ones tuck into some sweetness and fancy treats. This theme runs till march 31st, 2017.
