Unbeatable 5course menu by the inimitable Michelinstar Chef Lino at my fav Italian restaurant in town Casa Mia. As part of the ItalianSummit, only few selected restaurants were selected to participate. Each plate served was a work of art. My favs were the Ricotto caponata and redprawn #ravioli. So delicious with the right amount of flavor in every bite.
When you see Mazara redPrawn on the menu and try to figure out where it originates from? Well now, you can get a taste of Sicilian at Ccasamiadxb with the award winning Chef Lino Sauro who’s come down for the Italian Cuisine world summit. He’s such a sweet and funny guy 🙂 .
Cassata is an Italian dessert cake which is usually prepared with ricotta but this has a nice twist to it. Once you get over the beautiful presentation with dried fruits and berries, you can dive right into the core of this cake which is oozing with ice cream. Imagine a spoonful of Sicilian ricotta and ice cream. Yum.
